  9.         After installing the vbcc package the other day, along with PhxAss,
  10. PhxLnk, and dcpp, I tried to compile some simple programs.  Up popped a
  11. requester informing me that I needed the 'ixemul.library'.  No problem, I
  12. thought, I'll just go get it from that FreshFish CD of mine.  After installing
  13. ixemul, I realized that this probably meant it needed to link with ixemul in
  14. order to produce my code, which it did, producing horribly slow programs.

  16.         I thought, naturally, that dcpp might be the cause of this, however I
  17. realized this was not likely as FreeDice.lha contained no ixemul.library.  I
  18. checked the documentation for dcpp, PhxAss, PhxLnk, and vbcc, finding no
  19. reference to it.

  21.         My question is this:  How do I avoid linking with ixemul?
